Every year for one week in July, a small airport in Wisconsin (KOSH) becomes the busiest airport in the world because of EAA AirVenture.

EAAs AirVenture is the worlds largest aviation celebration with an average of no less than 600,000+ attendees and 10,000+ aircraft throughout the week. As an aviation enthusiast, student pilot, and photographer, this event is in my opinion unmatched to anything else. Here attendees get the chance to meet new people, camp on airshow grounds, see an amazing firework show, and the most important to photographers, get chances to see and capture rare aircraft and amazing demos.

This year I was lucky to be able to attend from the Tuesday to the Sunday. Throughout the week I met many amazing people, spotters, and aircrew along with seeing jets that I would never have gotten to see otherwise such as what was the worlds only privately flying MiG-23.
